Race start time is 19:15 and the club will be open from about 18:00 onwards. The event should be signed from the fruit farm shop on the A3066. ( See – find us)
There is limited parking at the Cricket Club so please watch out for the parking marshals and follow their instructions as we hope for a good attendance which means lots of cars. It’s always a good idea to car share if possible which also means that some of you can have a drink or two at the bar…….
The changing and showers at the clubhouse are excellent for both men and ladies.
Registration will take place in the downstairs bar and although we make a point of not charging extra on the night if you pre-apply we can have your number waiting for you to ‘fast-track’ registration or if you send an SAE we will mail your number back to you before the race. Entry fees are unchanged from last year.
The 10K race is open to all competitors aged 15 years and over.
All finishers in the 10K race will receive a specially commissioned race souvenir.
The fun run is open to runners aged 15 years and over.
There are no prizes or trophies for the fun run but results will be published.

The race starts in Willis’s Lane outside the club and finishes on the field. The route is varied and interesting without being too difficult. There are a number of obstacles including stiles, footbridges and a ford which can cause hold ups down the field so please be patient and enjoy the scenery and company of your fellow runners. There is one major climb which has to be taken twice, but it is relatively short and sharp.
The route is well marked and marshalled.
There will be a water station at about 1.75 miles and again at 4.5 miles. If the weather is particularly hot we will provide a further water station at 3 miles.
After the race we will get the results and the presentations under way as soon as possible but we would rather delay the presentation by a few minute than make mistakes with the prizewinners.
During the course of the evening we plan to have either a BBQ on the field or in the clubhouse kitchens. Either way you will be able to get burgers and hot dogs and, of course, the bar will be open…
